One OpenAI-compatible API for 450+ AI models, paid in Tunisian dinars. Learn how to authenticate, send requests, stream responses and keep your spending under control.

Promptix is an API gateway for developers and businesses in Tunisia. One API key gives you access to more than 450 models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, Mistral, DeepSeek, Qwen and others, through a single endpoint that speaks the OpenAI Chat Completions format. You pay in Tunisian dinars through Flouci and receive invoices in TND: no foreign card required.

Base URL

All API requests go to this base URL. Paths in this documentation are relative to it.

Because the API is OpenAI-compatible, existing code usually needs two changes only: the base URL and the API key. The official OpenAI SDKs, the Vercel AI SDK and LangChain all work without any other modification.

Quickstart

  1. Create an account, then open Billing and add credits (from 5 TND).
  2. Go to API keys, create a key and copy it. It is shown only once.
  3. Export it as an environment variable and send a request.

The response is a standard chat.completion object. Its id lets you look up the exact cost of the request in TND. The full quickstart walks through each step.

Key concepts

  • Model ids are namespaced by provider, for example openai/gpt-6-luna or anthropic/claude-sonnet-5. Browse them in the model catalog.
  • Credits: 1 credit = 1 TND. Each request is deducted from your balance after it completes, based on the tokens it used. See Billing and credits.
  • API keys can have a monthly spend limit in TND, so one project cannot drain your whole balance.
  • Streaming uses server-sent events, exactly like OpenAI. See Streaming.
